We are honored to have Karen Tronsgard-Scott, the Executive Director of the Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, as the Laura’s March 2015 keynote speaker. She is interested in building effective communities and coalitions devoted to creating a more just, equitable and integrated society.

Karen began her career in advocacy and non-profit leadership in the 1980’s as a volunteer at a school for children with developmental disabilities in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Prior to coming to Vermont to lead the Vermont Network, she was the Executive Director of a domestic and sexual violence services organization in southeastern Ohio.

Karen lives in the foothills of the Green Mountains with her wife, son and many pets.
