Established in September of 2006 and ending in September of 2016, Laura’s March was an annual 5K walk/run fundraising event. The primary goal of Laura’s March was to raise funds to support organizations that work to help end sexual violence. Held in remembrance of Laura during her birth month, the March gathered together hundreds of community members from Chittenden County Vermont, as well as other counties in Vermont and other states.

Past Laura’s March beneficiaries have included, among others, Dirt Divas/VT Works for Women, H.O.P.E. Works (formerly the Women's Rape Crisis Center), Parallel Justice, the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program at UVM Medical Center, STEPS to End Domestic Violence (formerly Women Helping Battered Women), Pride Center of Vermont, and The Safety Team.

“I know many survivors of sexual violence who attended Laura’s March and experienced the same hope and awe and peacefulness that I experienced. Laura’s March is a wonderful gift to the Burlington Community.”
