Achievement Award to Joan Carson

We congratulate Joan Carson for the Lifetime Achievement Award she will be receiving from KidSafe Collaborative.  Joan, the Clinical Director of the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program and Emergency Room nurse at Fletcher Allen Health Care, has worked ceaselessly on behalf of adult and child survivors of sexual abuse, not only ensuring they get outstanding medical care but also advocating for the expansion and enhancement of response to and handling of sexual assault survivors.
