In 2008:
Again, thanks to your continuing generosity, the LKW Fund was able to do the following:
- As a result of the silent auction/dinner proceeds, 26 children will receive scholarships to BCA
summer art camp.
- In May, the Fund also purchased a family membership to ECHO Science Center & Lake
Aquarium. David Wright of College Street Congregational Church once again helped select the
deserving family, a single mom and her daughter.
- In addition, we were a sponsor of SafeSpace's 4th annual Run Against Rape, held on April 27.
- The Fund is also making it possible for 3 children to attend the Humane Society of Chittenden
County's Camp Paw Paw, a week-long program designed to teach children how to interact with,
care for, and enjoy the companionship of 4-legged friends.
